Rev. Jan Kaplan – after completing theological studies at the Seminary
in Siedlce, Father Jan was ordained in 1967.
After a period of 10 years serving in Poland as a parish priest, Father Jan requested and was granted
permission to serve as a missionary in Argentina. Eight years later, he accepted an assignment
to minister in Canada,
a ministry which lasted 13 years. His
work in the United States began in 1998 in Chicago as an Associate Pastor at SS. Cyril
& Methodius in Lemont (5 years) as well as at Transfiguration in Wauconda (2 years). Presently, he has accepted the position of
Pastor at St. Ladislaus Parish.

Fr. Jan Mucha - was born in Poland (near Tarnow). After his seminary studies he was ordained in 1983. He then engaged in pastoral work in Poland in the diocese of Czestochowa.for 24 years; he worked 5 years as an associate in 2 different parishes and 19 years as a pastor in Wanaty (near Czestochowa). During his time as pastor, Fr. Jan built a new church, a new rectory, and established a new cemetery.
