St. Ladislaus History
• St. Ladislaus was founded in 1914 as a mission Church of St. Wenceslaus
• The first mass was celebrated on August 9, 1914.
• On August 28, 1915, the Church and School cointaining two classrooms was dedicated.
• The Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth agree to staff the growing school.
• In 1925, the school was enlarged.
• In 1952, ground was broken for the new Church which was dedicated on May 26, 1957 by Samuel Cardinal Stritch.
• In 1968, the new School was built.
• St. Ladislaus has educated nine young men who have been ordained priests and 14 young women who have become Sisters.
